United Kingdom - We’ve been to many a forex course with many companies over the years, but by far the best course for giving its students a thorough grounding in the basic nuts and bolts of trading was delivered by Win investing in London, UK.They offer a 3 day stock / forex course run over a long weekend, and backed up by an excellent set of DVDs. We found that if you take time to work through all of the DVDs before you attend the course, you will get so much more out of the course. As tends to be the case with these education companies, you book onto the course by attending one of their free complementary sessions which we found to be a bit pointless and even hard sell, but now that you know about it just view it as a necessary step en route to the main event, which is actually very good if you have little or no prior knowledge of trading.
Distance Learning - If you can't travel to London for WIN's excellent course, then we suggest that you obtain a distance learning course.These come in the form of a package of CDs, containing modular lessons which you can take at your own pace. In our experience, the best thing about learning from CDs is that you can stop, rewind and repeat anything that didn't quite make sense the first time. In many ways this is invaluable.
The best distance learning package we have come upon specifically for forex trading, and which starts at absolute ground level is provided by Online Trading Academy (OTA). They go into a great deal of detail in this course, and we found that we were using the pause and rewind mentioned above rather a lot throughout, but all in all they give an excellent grounding in forex trading.
