In our experience however the class leader in providing specialised trading courses is Online Trading Academy (OTA), who provide a specialist forex course, as well as courses specific to options, futures and commodities. They have training centres all around the world, from the US and Canada, to London, Dubai and Singapore. OTA’s courses are not for the faint hearted, and in our experience you really must have done a basics course first as OTA’s tutors do assume a certain amount of knowledge and delve into the deep end straight away. There’s no doubt that their hospitality is second to none. Students are hosted in pleasant surroundings and treated to excellent food every day during their course, and (at the time of writing) are at liberty to retake their course for free (and enjoy the food again) as many times as they wish. What we liked most about OTA was the modular structure of their courses enabling you to pick and choose according to your area of interest, and of course your budget. We found OTA’s courses very good, but almost overwhelming in the level of detail they go into. Having said that, it was clear that they do have a loyal following, with many examples of husbands and wives and fathers and sons all attending, and we also bumped into several people who were signed up for OTA’s entire portfolio of courses…..though we’d have to wonder why. Again, this is definitely only for those who have already been through a basics course and have some experience. TWP specialise in forex training only, and their niche is teaching currency trading strategies. Don’t expect as much detail as provided by the other education companies we’ve mentioned here, but this is also reflected in TWP’s lower prices.
